A great way to connect to the church is by serving as a church volunteer. On Sunday, February 5th, following service, you will be able to check out the many new areas you can help serve your church by visiting the job description tables that will be in the back of the auditorium. Even if you're serving now, we invite you all to browse the tables and to volunteer by filling out a volunteer card or by emailing us at volunteer@houseofpraise.cc. When you do, a staff representative will promptly contact you with more details.

On Sunday, February 12th, our Annual Business Meeting will take place following the service (about noon). This meeting is opened to all Covenant Members and their attendance is required. If you are a Covenant Member and unable to attend, please contact the church office. Also, if you have questions you wish addressed in the meeting, please submit them in writing by February 2nd to the church office.

On Tuesday, February 14th, Kid Connection is offering parents an amazing gift for Valentine's day, the gift of time and freedom, as we will be offering free child care from 6-9pm. This service will be offered to give all parents an opportunity to enjoy a night on their own. So have a date, hang out with some friends, take a relaxing bath, whatever you'd like. Let us bless you with a few hours to yourselves. The child care is available for children ages birth-12 years. On Friday, March 16th, at 7pm, we are bringing Pastor Joel Osteen to the Times Union Center. Joel pastors the largest Christian Church in the United States (Lakewood Church). Joel has a special gift from the Lord to reach unchurched people. Every city he has been in, thousands of people accept the Lord's salvation for the first time. This is going to be a huge day for the Kingdom of God in the Capital District. We must be a part of it. How can you help? Pray-Attend-Serve-Invite.
